Welcome Group’s plan is to return the storied property back to its original name, The Riviera Resort and Spa Palm Springs, an IHG Hotel. This transition will mark an exciting new chapter in the history of the resort. A return to the iconic name will be accompanied by enhanced offerings that focus on the relaxed luxury, warmth and unique character Palm Springs visitors have come to expect.

The resort’s transition to the Riviera Resort & Spa Palm Springs will begin in October of this year, with a goal of launching the completely renovated and rebranded property by mid-2026.
